If your drive is still working (but the system won't start, or you deleted files), the regular service route is often enough — we extract the data during the reinstall and hand it back to you on external media. If the drive is physically damaged (clicks, won't start, the BIOS can't see it), we send it to our specialised data recovery laboratory.

When the regular service is enough
- The system won't start — the drive works, but Windows won't boot. We extract the data, reinstall and return the data.
- Deleted files — if the drive is healthy, ordinary recovery software (Recuva, PhotoRec) is often enough.
- Damaged file system — chkdsk, partition recovery tools.
- The laptop's display died — the drive works, we extract the data before the repair.
When we hand it over to the laboratory
- The drive clicks or grinds — a mechanical fault, handled in the clean room
- The BIOS doesn't detect the drive — a firmware problem or dead electronics
- The SSD reports 0 MB capacity — corruption of the firmware table
- RAID or NAS failure — array reconstruction, special procedures
Price
As part of the regular PC service, data extraction is part of the work — we bill in half-hour blocks (600 Kč / 0.5 h incl. VAT for households per the service price list; for businesses see the business price list). Specialised data recovery depends on the nature of the damage — see the data recovery price list.
