Proactive management

Regular maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential for the smooth operation of all systems. We monitor status reports and logs, perform updates, and resolve issues before they reach users.

You Want to Prevent Problems

Regular maintenance is essential for the trouble-free operation of all systems. We typically perform it remotely:

  • We monitor status reports (Event Viewer, syslog, SNMP)
  • We evaluate logs — errors, warnings, security events
  • We perform updates — OS, applications, firmware, antivirus
  • Antivirus checks — periodic and on-access
  • We resolve issues regularly to keep the system in optimal condition

What Maintenance We Perform

Servers

  • Log checks (Application, System, Security)
  • Software updates — Windows Updates, security patches, application software
  • Hardware checks — S.M.A.R.T. disk status, temperatures, RAID status, power supply
  • Network traffic monitoring — throughput, latency, packet loss
  • Troubleshooting

Workstations (PCs, Laptops)

  • Automatic updates via WSUS or Intune
  • Antivirus and anti-malware scans
  • Temporary file cleanup, disk optimisation
  • Disk health checks (SMART)
  • Backup validation — if backups exist, we verify functionality

Network Devices (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, APs)

  • Firmware updates
  • Configuration checks (versioning in Git/Jira)
  • Capacity monitoring (CPU, RAM, throughput)
  • Security event logging

Backups

  • Daily verification of backup job success
  • Monthly restore test
  • Tape / external disk rotation
  • 3-2-1 strategy verification

Why Regular Maintenance

  • Prevention > reaction. Problems identified early have less impact than those discovered during an outage.
  • Security compliance — regular updates reduce vulnerabilities. 80% of successful attacks exploit vulnerabilities older than 6 months.
  • Hardware lifecycle — SMART indicators, disk replacement before failure
  • Software hygiene — log cleanup, disk space, stability

We Have a Solution for You

Our experts will provide you with professional advice to reduce the risks arising from the operation of your IT infrastructure. If you are interested, we will handle the entire project — from audit through planning and implementation to long-term management.

Simply get in touch and we can arrange the details.

How Maintenance Deployment Works

  1. Initial audit (one-time) — what you have, its condition, what the priorities are
  2. Maintenance plan proposal — what, how often, with which tools
  3. Monitoring deployment — Zabbix, PRTG, WhatsUp Gold, Datadog (depending on scale)
  4. Start of regular maintenance — weekly checks, monthly reports
  5. Quarterly review — changes, optimisation, capacity planning

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does IT outsourcing work for a smaller company with no in-house admin?
We offer flat-rate management: regular checks of backups, antivirus, Windows Update, monitoring of servers and network devices, plus reactive support (phone / remote help / on-site visit). A typical company of 10–30 employees pays 8,000–18,000 CZK/month for a complete package within the agreed SLA.
Do you come to the customer, or do you handle everything remotely?
We combine both. Minor issues (software installation, VPN setup, fixing a printer) we resolve by remote access within minutes. Larger jobs (server replacement, cabling, data migration) we handle on site. We cover Brno and the South Moravian Region, and by arrangement the whole Czech Republic.
Do you migrate to Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online?
Yes — migration from on-premise Exchange, Google Workspace or IMAP is a routine job. We plan the MX records, perform a cutover or staged migration with the full e-mail history, set up MFA, conditional access and third-party backup (M365 has no native archiving). Customers experience no downtime.
Can you help with NIS2 and cyber security?
Yes — we carry out an entry audit against NIS2 (both organisational and technical measures), prepare the policies, and set up EDR/MDR, network segmentation, logging into a SIEM and an incident-response plan. For small companies we can scope it so it does not cost millions — the basics can be covered within 6 weeks.
How do you handle company data backups?
The 3-2-1 principle: three copies of the data, on two different media types, one off-site. Typically: production → a local NAS with snapshots → cloud (Azure / AWS S3 / Wasabi). We use Veeam, and for M365 Altaro / Acronis. We test restores regularly — a backup you never restore is not a backup.
Do you have experience with Windows Server and Active Directory?
Yes — we manage AD domains from 2003 through Server 2022, handling upgrades, FSMO role migrations, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, encrypted file servers, RDP / RD Gateway and Windows Update Services. If you need a domain built from scratch, we can do it on greenfield within 1–2 days.
What if we already have another IT provider but want a second opinion?
We carry out independent audits: we come in, check licences, backups, security and GDPR, and produce a report with recommendations. The report is in plain language (not marketing waffle) and includes estimated budgets. You can then use the findings in any decision — including keeping your current provider.
How quickly do you respond to an incident (server outage, breach)?
Under the flat-rate service we respond within the agreed SLA, and critical incidents (a whole server / ransomware) are handled as a priority. Without a flat rate we respond as fast as we can, but priority goes to flat-rate clients. If you have an active breach, call immediately on +420 775 556 063 — disconnecting from the network and calling us is the first step.
