We offer supply and installation of structured cabling, including data cabinets — commonly referred to as 19” racks. For buildings, the typical choice is a floor-standing cabinet (server rack, server cabinet). For smaller installations, a 19” wall-mount cabinet (network cabinet) is used. For the smallest setups, a 10” cabinet can be deployed. Lan-tec data cabling is terminated in these cabinets, which house passive components, fibre-optic cabling, and active components — collectively forming the data network for low-current installations.

Comprehensive structured cabling range

For both copper and fibre-optic installations:

  • Range of data cabinets
  • Data cabling
  • Components for data networks
  • Technical project design support
  • Fibre-optic cabling training
  • Quotation preparation

Data cabling

Copper

Lan-tec Cat 5e UTP copper data cable — detail of the unshielded cable structure
Lan-tec Cat 5e UTP data cable — unshielded version for standard indoor installations.
Lan-tec Cat 5e FTP copper data cable — shielded version with foil screening for immunity to interference
Lan-tec Cat 5e FTP data cable — shielded version with foil screening for environments with higher EMI.
Lan-tec Cat 5e UTP Outdoor copper data cable — outdoor version with UV-resistant jacket for external installations
Lan-tec Cat 5e UTP Outdoor data cable — UV-resistant jacket for outdoor runs between buildings.
Lan-tec Cat 6 UTP LSZH copper data cable — halogen-free jacket for enhanced fire-safety requirements
Lan-tec Cat 6 UTP cable in LSZH version — halogen-free jacket for enhanced fire-safety requirements.

Cabling for Cat 5e, Cat 6, and Cat 6A categories. Depending on installation requirements, you can choose between shielded and unshielded versions. Based on the environment, we select cabling with regard to flammability (LSZH, PVC, halogen-free, plenum).

Fibre-optic

Lan-tec MM 50µm breakout fibre-optic cable — multimode with individually jacketed fibres
Lan-tec MM 50 µm breakout fibre-optic cable — multimode with individually jacketed fibres.
Lan-tec MM 50µm multimode fibre-optic cable — compact version for backbone and interconnect cabling
Lan-tec MM 50 µm fibre-optic cable — compact multimode version for backbone and interconnect cabling.
Lan-tec SM 9µm single-mode fibre-optic cable — flexible indoor version for interconnect cabling
Lan-tec SM 9 µm fibre-optic cable — flexible indoor single-mode for interconnects.
Lan-tec SM 9µm single-mode fibre-optic cable — standard version for outdoor backbone fibre installations
Lan-tec SM 9 µm fibre-optic cable — single-mode for outdoor and indoor backbone fibre installations.

Cabling for MM and SM fibre-optic data networks. Depending on the application, you can choose from many fibre-count variants (2, 4, 8, 12, 24, 48, 96). The installation environment determines the choice of cables with rodent protection (metallic armour, ceramic protection, self-extinguishing coating).

Components for data networks

Lan-tec Cat 5e UTP patch panel — 1U 24-port for terminating copper cabling in a 19" cabinet
Lan-tec Cat 5e UTP patch panel — 24 ports for terminating data cabling in a 19" cabinet.
Lan-tec 6× 230 V power distribution panel for 19" cabinets — power distribution for active equipment
Lan-tec 6× 230 V power distribution panel — power distribution for active equipment in a 19" cabinet.

Patch panels, outlets, tools, and other accessories for terminating data cabling. Components are available in various specifications for both copper and fibre-optic structured cabling systems. Data cabling termination consists of patch panels and data outlets, through which devices using the given data network are connected.

Technical project design support

We offer:

  • Project budget preparation and processing
  • Installation training for individual components — fibre-optic cabling installation procedures
  • Loan of measuring and work instruments used for structured cabling testing

We work with measurement technology

MultiFiber Pro Optical Power Meter — measurement instrument for certifying fibre-optic links
MultiFiber Pro Optical Power Meter — measurement instrument for fast certification of fibre-optic links.
Fibre-optic fusion splicer — automatic alignment and splicing of single-mode and multimode fibres
Fibre-optic fusion splicer — automatic alignment and splicing of SM and MM fibres.

Including the MultiFiber Pro Optical Power Meter and Fiber.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does IT outsourcing work for a smaller company with no in-house admin?
We offer flat-rate management: regular checks of backups, antivirus, Windows Update, monitoring of servers and network devices, plus reactive support (phone / remote help / on-site visit). A typical company of 10–30 employees pays 8,000–18,000 CZK/month for a complete package within the agreed SLA.
Do you come to the customer, or do you handle everything remotely?
We combine both. Minor issues (software installation, VPN setup, fixing a printer) we resolve by remote access within minutes. Larger jobs (server replacement, cabling, data migration) we handle on site. We cover Brno and the South Moravian Region, and by arrangement the whole Czech Republic.
Do you migrate to Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online?
Yes — migration from on-premise Exchange, Google Workspace or IMAP is a routine job. We plan the MX records, perform a cutover or staged migration with the full e-mail history, set up MFA, conditional access and third-party backup (M365 has no native archiving). Customers experience no downtime.
Can you help with NIS2 and cyber security?
Yes — we carry out an entry audit against NIS2 (both organisational and technical measures), prepare the policies, and set up EDR/MDR, network segmentation, logging into a SIEM and an incident-response plan. For small companies we can scope it so it does not cost millions — the basics can be covered within 6 weeks.
How do you handle company data backups?
The 3-2-1 principle: three copies of the data, on two different media types, one off-site. Typically: production → a local NAS with snapshots → cloud (Azure / AWS S3 / Wasabi). We use Veeam, and for M365 Altaro / Acronis. We test restores regularly — a backup you never restore is not a backup.
Do you have experience with Windows Server and Active Directory?
Yes — we manage AD domains from 2003 through Server 2022, handling upgrades, FSMO role migrations, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, encrypted file servers, RDP / RD Gateway and Windows Update Services. If you need a domain built from scratch, we can do it on greenfield within 1–2 days.
What if we already have another IT provider but want a second opinion?
We carry out independent audits: we come in, check licences, backups, security and GDPR, and produce a report with recommendations. The report is in plain language (not marketing waffle) and includes estimated budgets. You can then use the findings in any decision — including keeping your current provider.
How quickly do you respond to an incident (server outage, breach)?
Under the flat-rate service we respond within the agreed SLA, and critical incidents (a whole server / ransomware) are handled as a priority. Without a flat rate we respond as fast as we can, but priority goes to flat-rate clients. If you have an active breach, call immediately on +420 775 556 063 — disconnecting from the network and calling us is the first step.
